Special Connexion 4

Advocates for Special People has opened our fourth location, Special Connexion 4, at 101 E North St, Arlington, TX 76011 on November 4, 2019. Like the other locations, hours will be 9am-3pm. This will be what we are calling a “stationary” camp, at least for the time being, there will be no field trips. There are lots of potential activities with having access to amenities at Arlington First United Methodist Church. SC4 is led by Kevin Brazil of SC3.

Check out the events for our Special Connexion 4 group below!

ADVOCATES FOR SPECIAL PEOPLE CLOSES SPECIAL CONNEXIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

All Activities CANCELLED at all four locations because of COVID-19

ARLINGTON, TEXAS, March 25, 2020 – In an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19, Advocates for Special People followed Arlington ISD in closing, initially until March 30, 2020. AISD extended that date through April 3, though expected to extend. Dallas and Fort Worth ISD's have "closed until further notice."

We have since received guidance from Texas Health and Human Services who have closed all dayhabs in the state. HHS and the ISD's may not be on the same timeline establishing normalcy again.

As further information becomes available, we will let you know.

Stay safe and healthy,
